Design Matters - A Giving Impact Ignite Presentation from 10NTC

We gave an Ignite presentation at the 2010 NTEN Nonprofit Technology conference in Atlanta, GA. The focus of the presentation was to share our thoughts about the importance of design and to showcase the way Giving Impact addresses design as a key principal.

The presentation hits on the challenge faced in particular by small and even medium sized organizations where design is yet another bullet point on a huge list of priorities of an outreach strategy that compete for limited resources. As important as design may be, it may be a challenge for many organizations to find the means to invest in it. With that in mind, the presentation explores how technology should help by sharing a growing number of tools that have design as one of their core principals either by being designer friendly or by simply offering thoughtful, attractive, and brand-able interfaces. Giving Impact is one such tool.

Unfortunately, we were unable to capture video of the presentation. So as a next best thing, we recorded an audio voiceover and added it to the slideshow.
