#  JOE NYC Visual Branding and Collateral 

 

 

The Joint Ownership Entity (JOE) NYC is a small but mighty nonprofit helping other small nonprofits continue to efficiently and competitively offer affordable housing in New York City.  
  
We had the pleasure of working with JOE NYC’s Executive Director when he was working at a previous client partner of ours. Given the good work we did together there, he engaged us to help design a new visual brand for JOE NYC.  
  
Our final solution was a bold typographic treatment that reflects the modern thinking behind the organization's mission.

## Logo Concpet

A large part of JOE NYC's mission is to bring together and support organizations offering affordable housing in New York City. The bold line under NYC represents this support, and is also a symbol of a strong foundation.   
  
We explored many designs, and in the end decided a simple bold type treatment that emphasized NYC best reflected the strength of this new community.
