About Minds On Design Lab

Minds On Design Lab is a strategic design studio with digital expertise. We’re passionate about elevating small and mighty teams in the social sector. We were founded in 2007 and are a fully remote, virtual studio.

What we are looking for

We are looking to build out our network of freelance graphic designers for when new and overflow work opportunities are available. Hiring on a project or weekly contract basis possible.

Typical projects might include:

• Digital design concepts (websites, email, social)
• Website production including adapting existing designs to work well responsively, rolling out and preparing several pages for hand off to developers
• Print materials for events and marketing materials
• Annual Appeals and Impact Reports
• Logo design and style guide development

Interested Candidates must have:

• A genuine interest in helping our clients achieve their mission
• Attention to detail, can produce highly polished designs
• The mindset to approach projects thoughtfully, with client goals in mind
• Website design experience and a portfolio to show it
• Ability to work with a small team
• Willingness to collaborate with and take direction
• Willingness to learn and follow our process and standards
• Be reliable and able to work within deadlines

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of design experience
• Proficient in Sketch and the Adobe design suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
• Knowledge of print production (ability to prepare files for printing) is a plus
