Spark Kindness Branding and Website

Spark Kindness creates and supports communities of belonging. Their mission is to build a kind, resilient, and welcoming community where no one feels alone, bullied, unsupported, or unconnected. As their organization was growing, they reached out to us to help level up their visual presence.

We gave them a new brand foundation including a logo redesign, style guide, social and print templates, and a new website.

A new logo

Their old logo drew from the idea of a spark. Igniting, activating, a feeling of light and warmth. The concept was in line with their mission, but the execution needed a refresh. We gave them a new logo rooted in those same themes but with a more modern design. It uses a simpler, bolder spark shape, a unique type treatment for the word Spark, and a cleaner, more readable treatment for the word Kindness. The result is fresh and friendly, a look that better reflects the warmth and clarity at the heart of what they do.

Visual brand elements and rollout

To give them a set of visual brand elements, we also created a series of background patterns using the spark icon. We paired this with a vibrant color platte, and rounded corner boxes for highlights and images. We used these elements to design a new website, social media, and print flyer templates, as shown below.
